The Hawai‘i Conservation Conference (HCC) invites environmental organizations and vendors to promote their programs and services, display interactive educational activities, or demonstrate field equipment during the three-day event, July 18th – July 20th, 2017.

This year’s conference theme, He Wa’a, He Moku - Mālama Honua: Caring for Our Island Earth, “He waʻa he moku, he moku he waʻa”, translates as “the canoe is an island, and the island is a canoe." This year's theme highlights the need to treat Hawaii's biocultural resources as carefully as we would the limited provisions carried on a waʻa. In Hawaiʻi, like on a voyaging canoe, we must work together to ensure the sustainability of our communities, our islands, our archipelago, and our planet. Effective stewardship requires cultural knowledge, the best available science, traditional and innovative management tools, and collaboration between all sectors.

We recommend that exhibit booths be developed to represent the Conference theme and provide community engagement opportunities including interactive displays, educational activities, and local sustainable crafts or products for sale. To minimize negative environmental impacts, exhibitors are strongly encouraged to develop “paperless” displays and to refrain from handing out printed materials such as brochures and fliers.  Display copies are welcome. Free wireless in the exhibit hall enables efficient digital sharing of information.

Exhibitor rates include a 6' dressed table and 2 chairs in an 8 x10' space located in Room 313 of the Hawaii Convention Center and two booth attendees. Booth attendees will receive 3-day exhibit room access.

Exhibit attendees who would like to attend conference sessions, may register at the special exhibitor rate of $200 (valid for 3 days). This offer is limited to two attendees per exhibit. When registering, choose "exhibitor" as your registration type, then check the box on the form to add the conference registration fee.

Limited electricity will be available. The indoor exhibit space is carpeted. Hanging items are not permitted on the wall surfaces. Loading in/out is the responsibility of the vendor. Overnight security will be provided.

*On Wednesday afternoon (1pm-6pm), HCC will be open to the public free of charge; youth and families will be invited to view the exhibit hall as well as the Conference sessions. Exhibit booths must be staffed at this time. Exhibitors are encouraged to bring display items appropriate for a broad audience.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Written cancellations will be accepted until June 15.
A cancellation fee of $35 per person will be charged.
No refunds will be granted after the deadline.

Exhibitors must register before May 20th to be guaranteed placement in Conference publications and online material.
