An Invitation

The annual Hawaiʻi Conservation Conference (HCC) brings together over 1,200 conservation professionals, natural resource managers, scientists, and students from throughout the state. The theme of this year’s 24th annual conference, He Waʻa He Moku – Mālama Honua: Caring for Our Island Earth, highlights the need to care for the biocultural resources of our island home, our island earth, as carefully as we would the limited provisions carried on a waʻa (canoe).

During the three-day conference, participants and guests will have the opportunity to network and participate in a wide range of conference activities including listening to distinguished keynote speakers, attending thought-provoking sessions, forums, workshops, and panels, and engaging in conservation awards, poster presentations, innovative networking and training opportunities.

On behalf of the Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance and Foundation, we invite your company to showcase your company’s support for conservation efforts in Hawaiʻi through a conference sponsorship. Hawaiʻi’s conservation efforts include support of Hawaiʻi’s native ecosystems, innovative research, conservation excellence, and collaborative programs that preserve and protect our islands ecosystems, species, and cultural resources.

In Hawai’i we must work together to ensure the sustainability of our communities, our islands, our archipelago, and our planet. Effective stewardship will require cultural knowledge, the best available science and technology, innovative management tools, and collaboration between all sectors.

We welcome your contribution and partnership as a sponsor and/or exhibitor. Sponsorship opportunities, benefits, and commitment forms are enclosed.

The Hawai‘i Conservation Alliance (HCA) is a cooperative collaboration of conservation leaders representing over twenty government and non-profit organizations in the conservation, cultural and education sector. Collectively, we are responsible for safeguarding Hawaiʻi’s ocean, lands, and streams and dedicated to providing unified leadership and advocacy for Hawaiʻi’s most critical conservation issues. As a collaborative network, we work together to perpetuate native ecosystems and ensure that the unique biodiversity of our islands endures.

The Hawai‘i Conservation Alliance Foundation (HCAF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, established in 2006. The HCAF mission is to secure private support to promote effective, long-term management of Hawaiʻi’s native ecosystems through collaborative research, training, and outreach among land managers, scientists, educators, and the general public.
