The My Hawai‘i partners invited all middle school students to participate in the 7th annual My Hawai‘i Story Project, an environmental writing contest for students in Hawai‘i. Students were invited to submit their best story or poem that reflected this year's themes:

LAULIMA
working together
How have you worked with others to make a better Hawai‘i for us all?
or
SACRED PLACES
What special place have you visited?
Who took you there?
What is a special place that you want to go to with your 'ohana?
