Born and raised in Hawaii, Nick Turner is currently employed at the Spatial Data Analysis and Visualization lab at UH-Hilo as a Geospatial researcher; his focus is on remote sensing with Unmanned Aircraft Systems and satellites for disaster relief and natural hazards. He is a UAV pilot and handles the FAA coordination for our UAV operations.
Dr. Ryan Perroy
Ryan Perroy received his PhD in Geography from UC Santa Barbara and holds an undergraduate degree in Physics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He studies geomorphology and land degradation using different types of remote sensing, and is very happy to be living and working in Hawai'i!
