Isabel Schwartz joined the Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance as the Administration & Program Specialist in February 2025. She was born and raised in San Clemente, California before she moved to Hawaiʻi and earned her B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Hawai’i at Hilo.
Isabel worked as an intern for Pacific Internship Programs for Exploring Science (PIPES) with Three Mountain Alliance in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park and Keauhou. She completed her Senior Thesis on the decline of endemic plant species in Kalapana on Hawaiʻi Island. After graduation, Isabel gained experience working with multiple companies known for their sustainability efforts including Aloha Carbon, Mānoa Chocolate Factory, and SAMBAZON.
In her free time she enjoys movie marathons, painting her nails, and spending time with her family.
