An Invitation – 2019 Hawaiʻi Conservation Conference Sponsorship Opportunities
The Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance Foundation (Alliance Foundation) is excited to offer multiple sponsorship opportunities for the 2019 Hawaiʻi Conservation Conference. The conference is attended by over 1,200 conservation professionals from across the Hawaiian archipelago and features cutting edge research, as well as innovative tools and approaches for addressing critical island conservation needs. All sponsors will be featured on our program app which will be the primary access point to the conference schedule, presentation abstracts, and information about all special events. Additionally, the exhibitor hall will feature a full sized screen where sponsor information and logo will be interspersed with video and photo content highlighting conference content and key conservation issues. All sponsors are recognized on our website and in our opening remarks at the conference. Additionally, all sponsors are offered an exhibit table and 2 full registrations.
Below, are a few sponsorship opportunities, some of which may have additional recognition possibilities. We are also open to customized partnerships, as appropriate. Session Room Host (15 Opportunities)
Concurrent sessions are held throughout the 3 days of the conference and include diverse conservation content ranging from ground-breaking scientific research to community-building. Sessions attract up to 250 attendees at any time and each room holds 2-3 concurrent sessions per day. Session room hosts will have their logo displayed throughout the day at the entry doorway and adjacent to the speaker’s podium. Additionally, a session room host will have their logo on the bumper slide that appears between every speaker and during all breaks. Conference title and artwork may also appear on the bumper slides. Total sponsorship amount depends on size of room as well as number of hosted days. Please contact us for more information.
OPENING RECEPTION (1 or 2 opportunities)

The invitation-only opening reception will honor keynote speakers, international attendees, legislators, key community leaders, conference sponsors and HCA partners. This intimate event is a unique opportunity to reach approximately 100 of Hawaiʻi’s leaders in conservation. The event includes ample networking time as attendees enjoy heavy pupu as well as time for brief remarks. Opening reception sponsors will be invited to speak at the event and will have table space to share literature.

ELECTRONIC POSTERS HOST
The Hawaiʻi Conservation Conference strives to minimize environmental impact of the conference; one way is to reduce printed paper materials. By utilizing electronic posters, we have reduced printed content and are utilizing technology to provide a richer and more engaging presentation. Poster sponsor logo will appear at the entrance and all signage for the poster session room. Additionally, sponsor’s logo will be incorporated into the home screen for the poster machines and the poster website which will be freely accessible to the general public for at least 12 months.

Your company logo will be printed on eco-friendly reusable utensils/straw/container distributed to all registered conference participants encourage the reduction of waste at the conference and serve as a memento.
NETWORKING BREAK SPONSORS (6 Opportunities)
Healthy, locally-sourced refreshments is important to your organization, and its key to let others know about your commitment to the ‘āina. Sponsor’s information will be posted at the break as well as in electronic notices and reminders about the break (e.g. emails and app push notifications).

KEYNOTE OR PLENARY PANEL (3 Opportunities)
Each day of the conference opens with a keynote speech from a leader in the conservation community or a plenary panel of local conservation leaders. This is the only time during the conference when there are no concurrent sessions and therefore these presentations are the most highly attended. Keynote speeches are recorded and posted online following the conference.
