Community Stewards' Scholarship
The Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance Foundation is offering a limited number of scholarships for individuals actively engaged in stewardship of biocultural resources. Preference will be given to those who are volunteers, employees or leaders of community organizations that do not have financial resources to support conference registration, are stewarding resources in a Hawaiian way or are engaged in Hawaiian biocultural conservation/restoration, and who will bring Hawaiian cultural perspectives on biodiversity conservation and/or ʻāina stewardship.
Scholarship recipients will be able to register for the conference at no cost, but must complete registration on their own following directions that will be emailed to awardees.
This form can be filled out by an individual qualified for the scholarship and/or a nominator from within the Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance network.
Deadline to apply is July 22nd, 2021.
